The Body Shop Almond Oil Daily Hand And Nail Cream

So I thought I would share one of my holy grail products today. As you can see by the post title it's the Body Shops Almond Oil Daily Hand And Nail Cream. I discovered this about 2 years ago and have repurchased it a few times. I'm not one for thick, greasy, wet feeling lotions or creams. I hate that greasy, damp feeling with a passion. If you're like me, you don't have to worry about that with this cream! It absorbs super quick and leaves your hands feeling SO soft, not greasy at all. The second thing I love about it is the scent. It smells of almond shells. I find it a very natural scent although it can be a little strong smelling depending on the amount you use. A little goes a long way with this and I only use what I need so the scent isn't bothersome to me. I actually find myself sniffing my hands sometimes. The only con for me is the price. Here in Canada you'll pay $16.00 for a tube. It is expensive but I love it so much that it's worth it to me. A couple of months ago they actually had a sale at TBS and had it on for $8.00 per tube. I bought 2 so I'm good for a while. So, if you're looking for a great hand cream that doesn't leave you feeling greasy and don't mind paying the price, check it out! Definitely pick one up if you see it on sale!

Looking Forward To.......

The Crystal Method show in two weeks! Picked up our tickets yesterday and I am sooo excited! I can't believe The Crystal Method will be playing in Halifax not to mention two buildings behind my apartment building! So convenient. I've been a fan since my teens so this is a big thing for me! I don't know what I'm going to wear though. I want to be comfortable as I will be dancing and I need to wear something light as well. I'm in desperate need of new clothes anyway so I'll have to do a little shopping I think!

Shame on me!

Wow, I really suck at this blog thing don't I? I honestly had good intentions when I started this. Lets just say that life has been a little hectic the last few months but I really want to stick with it this time around. I need a hobby and somewhere I can come to talk about life and things I find interesting. I can't wait to get some more reviews done. I have some products that I absolutely love that I can't wait to share with others. Now lets try this again shall we?

My First Review:Rusk Coral Therapy Marine Nutrient Treatment

So I've chosen to do my first review on a hair treatment I've been loving. As the title says, it's the Rusk Coral Therapy Marine Nutrient Treatment. I've been using this treatment for about two months now. I picked this up at Winners for $6.99. When I got home I checked the Rusk website for more info on the product and it says the suggested retail price is $16.00. I got it for less than half the suggested price! I have to say I absolutely love this product! I picked it up because I knew I was going to be lightening my medium brown hair back to blonde and would need something to help nurse it back to health. This treatment is very thick, I was expecting it to be a little more watery but was pleasantly surprised. A little goes a long way on my fine, thin hair. I use this in the shower after shampooing and let it sit for 2-3 mins. You can also apply it to wet or dry hair and leave it for longer or overnight under a shower cap. It has made my hair feel so much healthier and silkier not to mention the smell is amazing. It smells strongly of some kind of fresh fruit, peach maybe? I think this has made it's way into my holy grail list. I don't care if I have to pay full price for it in the future, I will still buy it!
